This document explains how Freedom Circle Limited provides its services and outlines important information about how we work with our clients.

Before providing advice or arranging a product for you, we will supply you with a Key Facts / Initial Disclosure Document explaining:
• the services we provide
• the range of products we can recommend
• how we are paid for our work
This Terms of Business document explains additional details about how our firm operates and how this may affect you as a client.
These terms apply from the date you receive them. In some circumstances, following our initial discussion with you regarding your financial situation, objectives and attitude to risk, we may update these terms. If this occurs, the revised version will be provided to you promptly.
From time to time we may need to update these terms to reflect regulatory or business changes. Where appropriate we will provide reasonable notice before any changes apply.
Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)
Freedom Circle Limited is covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
If we are unable to meet our financial obligations to you, you may be entitled to compensation under the scheme. The level of protection available depends on the type of product and the circumstances of the claim.

Record Keeping
We maintain records relating to the services we provide. If you request copies of documentation relating to your transactions or interactions with us, we will provide them where reasonably possible.
Conflicts of Interest
We aim to act in your best interests at all times. If we become aware of any situation where our interests, or those of our staff or clients, could conflict with yours, we will disclose this to you and obtain your consent before proceeding.
Instructions
We can normally accept instructions from you either verbally or in writing. In most cases this will involve completing and signing relevant application documentation.
Where the product provider offers a statutory cancellation period, they will provide written details explaining your rights.
Either party may terminate our authority to act on your behalf at any time by providing written notice. Any transactions that have already started may still need to be completed before termination becomes effective.
Ownership of Products
Freedom Circle Limited acts as an intermediary and does not hold ownership of any financial products arranged through us.
Any mortgage or insurance products arranged will be registered in the client’s name. Documentation confirming ownership will either be sent to you directly by the provider or forwarded by us once received.
Ongoing Contact and Reviews
Our services are generally delivered via telephone, email or online communication.
Following completion of a mortgage or insurance arrangement, we may contact you at a later date to review your circumstances. This allows us to ensure your arrangements remain suitable and to inform you of any relevant options that may be available.
Data Protection
Freedom Circle Limited handles personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
Information you provide may be:
• stored securely in electronic or paper records
• used for the purpose of providing our services
• shared with lenders, insurers, professional advisers or service providers where necessary
We take appropriate steps to ensure your information is handled securely and only shared where lawful and necessary.

Complaints Procedure

Client Money
Freedom Circle Limited does not hold client money.
Payments relating to mortgages or insurance products are made directly to the relevant product provider unless we are collecting fees that have been clearly disclosed to you.
Regulatory Protection
As an FCA authorised firm, we operate under regulatory requirements designed to protect consumers.
Please note that some financial arrangements, such as certain buy-to-let mortgages or commercial lending, may not fall under full FCA consumer protection rules.
We will inform you if this applies to the product you are considering.
Call Recording
Telephone calls may be recorded or monitored for training, compliance and regulatory purposes.
Fees
Freedom Circle Limited may receive commission from lenders or insurance providers when we arrange products for you.
Where a fee is charged for our services, we will clearly explain the amount and when it becomes payable before you proceed.
You should also be aware that additional costs associated with a mortgage transaction may apply, such as:
• lender arrangement fees
• valuation fees
• solicitor or conveyancing fees
• government taxes or duties
These costs are not charged by us unless specifically stated.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 does not apply to this agreement.
